Adventure
The first adventure game that I played, in the early DOS days, was Loom.
I was very pleased with it and many other games were to follow, including the Kings Quest series, Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Indiana Jones, The Lost Ark and Fate of Atlantis, Legend of Kyrandia, Hand of Fate and many others.
Forget all your troubles and dive into an adventure game.

Strategic
A long time ago, in the DOS era, I got my first strategic game Dune, Battle for Arakis.
I can honestly say that I am more or less addicted to these games.
The games that followed included the Command and Conquer series, Red Alert series, Starcraft, Warcraft, Commandos and many others.
My latest acquisitions are Emperor Battle for Dune and Commandos 2.
This genre is my favorite and I am always looking forward to new games.

Role Playing Game - RPG
A CD, supplied with a computer magazine, had a demo of Stonekeep.
I installed this demo and was fascinated so much that I started looking for more RPG's, such as Albion and the Lands of Lore series (the former is also from the DOS era), Baldurs Gate, Icewind Dale. A good RPG lets you forget everything around you, even time.
Thus it may be very late, sometimes in the middle of the night, when the computer is switched off.
When will another good RPG be released? Addicted.

Not only games.
Obviously, the computer is not used for games only. I also do work for various associations and clubs, I develop training material for computer courses and I also attend computer courses myself.
Making this homepage also takes time of course (at the expense of time for games)
But this is also fun to do.
