This is our current car, the Yaris. When our previous car was almost 10 years old we decided to buy a new car. In August 2001 we picked up our Yaris at the dealership after a delivery term of nearly 4 months.
A note of optimism, this was cutting the original delivery term of 5 months short by one month.
It is a splendid car, its fully loaded.
And it is a great drive.

This is our previous car.
As you can tell, it is a Toyota Starlet, XLI, 1300CC, 3 door.
In spite of the fact that it was nearly 10 years old we never had problems; it never let us down. Of course we did not skimp on proper (technical) maintenance, so we never failed the annual maintenance service. In my opinion this the way to enjoy a trouble-free car.
We have already mentioned that we have an other car since 3 August 2001.
